CUWIP Graduate School and Career Fair @ Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA

APS Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) are three-day regional conferences for undergraduate physics majors. A typical program will include research talks by faculty, panel discussions about graduate school and careers in physics, presentations and discussions about women in physics


Fair Information

The fair will be located in the Hahn Hall-North Wing atrium from 12 to 2 pm on January 14, 2017. Each institution will be assigned a location when they arrive. You may begin set up as early as 9 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017. All exhibits must be taken down between 5 and 6 pm. Each institution will be supplied with one 6' table for set-up space and one chair. Linens are not included.

We are expecting approximately 120 undergraduate students at this fair, plus approximately 30 graduate students and faculty.

There is no required payment for participating in the CUWIP fair. However, a contribution from your institution would be very much appreciated and would help to cover the cost of the fair and to support the CUWIP conference. A contribution of $150 - $300 is suggested. Checks should be made payable to Virginia Tech Physics Department. Also, please to make a notation on the check  Acc#: 220456-Conf for UG Women in Physics.
